Hull Updates
Hull and Bottom:
Solid fiberglass hull with no blisters evident
- Inboard gas engine & prop shaft fittings were removed, aperture filled and Nissan 9.8 HP motor in tilt-up outboard well in lazarette for snag free sailing and less drag. (Sails right over crab traps and nets) The tilt-up outboard well has sliding boards to cover the shaft slot.
- 2 Coats of PETIT TRINIDAD ANTI FOUL PAINT and 1 coat HYDROCOAT ABLATIVE PAINT NOVEMBER 2021
- All five seacocks replaced 2017
- Bilge Areas Resealed with epoxy/fiberglass
- Drogue chain plates installed on transom
- Replaced bow rubbing strake
Deck
DECK:
- Every fastener and fitting has been replaced or removed and rebidded during refit. Exterior teak trim including cockpit comings, varnished in 2021
- Original wood toe rail was replaced with an aluminum toe rail, less maintenance and reinforced hull/deck joint with thru bolts.
- 10” mooring cleats
- Lewmar Ocean 60 forward hatch provides good ventilation (increased size over old hatch.

- Manageable size while still having enough power to drive the boat at 6 knots
