She's built on a modified-V hull with wide, 9'8", beam allowing for a large interior space in comparison to others. The layout will sleep 6 with double berths fore and aft along with a convertible Ultra leather settee in the main cabin. Fresh water cruiser. Introduced in 2004, the Four Winns 288 Vista’s blend of solid construction, comfortable accommodations, and competitive price makes her a strong contender in the under- 30-foot segment of today’s express-boat market. Built on a modified-V hull with cored hullsides, the interior of the 288 Vista is a little larger than other boats in her class thanks to a wide 9-foot, 8-inch beam. The layout—which differs little from other mid-cabin cruisers—sleeps six with double berths fore and aft and a convertible Ultraleather settee in the main cabin. The mid-cabin area is a tight fit, but the head is large and the galley has the refrigerator located above the microwave so you don’t have to bend down to reach it. For afterhours privacy, curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin. Topside, the cockpit is configured with a U-shaped lounge aft, refreshment center with slide-out cooler, removable table, and an electric engine hatch. Note that the double helm seat has a flip up bolster for the driver. An extended swim platform, aluminum radar arch, tilt steering wheel, and transom shower were standard. With twin 270hp Volvo sterndrives, the 288 Vista will cruise in the low 20s and reach 30+ knots wide open.
