Overview
Manufacturer Provided Description:
The 65 boasts a three-stateroom layout that offers ample space for all onboard and upholds the reputation as a master of space planning. In fact, the 65 ranks among the most spacious vessels I’ve experienced within its size range. The forward VIP stateroom is only slightly smaller than the midship master stateroom, and both en suite heads, each equipped with a stall shower, are nearly identical in size.
The 65 exudes luxury with high-end features that reflect its status as a world-class yacht. All plumbing fixtures are precision-crafted in Italy by Valli and Valli, and the door hardware is both substantial and stylish.
Every detail on this vessel showcases the logo, giving it a customized yacht ambiance. The stainless steel work, especially around the anchor and in the corners of each aft cockpit, is an in-house masterpiece. These corner line-handling stations, which can optionally include warping winches, even have spigots inside the bins for easy line rinsing.
What sets the 65 apart is its unmistakable appearance, concealing a significant engineering accomplishment. Surprisingly, the entire deck and house, including the sole, are a single integrated piece. This achievement results from a complex mold consisting of eight major components and around two dozen smaller ones, accommodating all the three-dimensional surfaces. The unibody design stands out for its engineering prowess, but more importantly, it eliminates leaks and squeaks while significantly reducing torquing. To ensure its rigidity, the 65’s hull features its own deck, to which the deckhouse attaches and bonds. This construction provides much greater structural integrity compared to conventional designs that rely on a separate deck to prevent hull flexing. An impressive example of attention to detail is found in the master head, where the midship tub is flanked by his and hers facilities. To enhance privacy for each side, the shower doors feature glass that switches from clear to opaque at the flip of a switch.
