Description

This vessel represents a proven blue water design with endless cruising capabilities.  Cheoy Lee Shipyard took the  Plilip Rhodes designed Rhodes Reliant and flipped the deck plan and layout over to a mirror image, modified the rudder, cut a foot off the overall length and marketed the Offshore 40 as its own design.  About 160 were built through 1976.  She has an elegant sheer line, tracks well and her self steering vane makes for easy steering.  Her decks are glass and she sports a large cockpit, pedestal steering, fiberglass dodger and all the stuff you will need to go cruising.
