Overview

NORUMBEGA is an extremely nice, well executed custom example of the Lowell Brothers 43, a highly regarded hull among commercial fishermen, from Bruce Farrin’s Boat Shop in Walpole, Maine.  The hull’s reputation as an excellent sea boat was the reason her owner chose it as the platform for this handsome Downeast flybridge yacht. She features top of the line equipment, superb joinery, and a practical attention to detail not found in many of today’s production boats.

This handsome yacht is capable of a solid and efficient 20kt cruise from her 1200hp MAN diesel and is infinitely maneuverable around the dock with her high horsepower hydraulic bow and stern thrusters. NORUMBEGA deserves to be at the top of any Downeast yacht buyers list.

Broker Remarks

NORUMBEGA is a rare late model custom Downeast offering on today’s brokerage market. Commissioned and offered by her original owner who spared no expense in her design, construction, or outfitting, she stands unique in a marketplace of common brands and mainstream looks. While outfitted for full east coast and Bahamas cruising, she has only been used seasonally along the coast of Maine and southern New England and stored warm and dry inside during the winter months.  Her first-rate spotless condition and well-maintained engineering systems ensure the ability for her next owner to cruise immediately.
