About
Originally built for a seasoned Italian owner and sailor, the Solaris 72 Plum was specifically designed to sail from Pole to Equator . Thanks to her rugged engineering and performance spec, she was chosen for her owner’s 5-year round the world voyage which included the Artic Seas and a West-to-East trip through the Northwest Passage. Solidly built of a single material (fiberglass) with just one mechanical characteristic and also exceptionally well equipped, Plum was crafted to withstand the challenges of an ambitious and challenging voyage which she completed both safely and comfortably. Plum is an outstandingly sophisticated semi-custom yacht, with a unique style all of her own and an incredible standard of handcrafted detailing. She combines a long list of exceptional achievements with an elegant interior comprising 4 fully equipped cabins (3 doubles and 1 Pullman) that sleep up to 8 guests. Although designed to sail comfortably at high latitudes and in the tropics, Plum remains in superb shape , thanks to constant meticulous maintenance. She is also easy to keep, thanks to her cleverly thought-out systems. One of Plum’s most striking features is her deckhouse which offers effortless protection from the elements whilst affording stunning 360-degree views of her breath-taking surroundings. The large, completely independent engine room and all of its systems are located under the deck house, while a deep, safe guest cockpit separated from the working area provides a comfortable retreat for both guests and crew in even the most demanding weather conditions. Now laid up ashore under continuous care, this beautiful bluewater cruiser is ready welcome her next adventurous Owners aboard.
