First impressions
Diana is the technical pinnacle of Heesen’s highly successful 55-metre Steel platform. She is the result of Dutch engineering excellence, offering a proven foundation perfected through data collected from her sisterships and direct market feedback. This is a yacht built for owners who value certainty, combining a reliable heritage with intentional design updates that elevate this class to a new standard.
The secret to her exceptional efficiency and low fuel consumption remains below the waterline. We believe that reducing environmental impact begins with superior hydrodynamics. Diana features the patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), devised by Van Oossanen and perfected by our engineers. This advanced slippery hull is the key to her class-leading capabilities in all sea conditions.
In combination with her MTU 4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) engines, Diana reaches a top speed of 15.5 knots. The result is a vessel that is not only fuel-efficient but also stable, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for long-range cruising.
Step aboard
Diana welcomes twelve guests in six staterooms, including an 86-square-metre owner’s suite, four guest cabins on the lower deck, and an improved VIP suite on the bridge deck. This layout prioritises active, multifunctional use of space, transforming the traditional beach club into a wellness-focused gym. Her interior, by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, follows a philosophy of naturalism and tactility. The palette moves between warm whites and blonde-rust hues, where light interacts with texture rather than bold colours.
Sustainability guides the material choices, with Alpi reconstituted timber and honed marbles delivering a refined finish with a lower environmental impact. Fluted and sandblasted glass then introduces soft, diffused privacy throughout the interior. Natural stone accents, including Rainforest and Camouflage marbles, add depth to the bathrooms and cabins. The interior is defined by precision and a layout shaped around how modern owners live.
