1. When is the best time to charter in Seychelles? Seychelles offers year-round yachting, but ideal months are October to April for smooth seas and ideal diving conditions. The Southeast Trade Winds (May–September) bring a slightly breezier, cooler experience—ideal for sailing yachts and catamarans.

3. Can I access remote islands only by yacht? Yes. Many of Seychelles’ most pristine islets—especially in the Amirante and Outer Islands—are only reachable by private yacht or helicopter. These include Desroches, Cosmoledo, and Alphonse Atoll.

4. Are permits required for certain anchorages? Yes, several marine parks and protected islands (like Curieuse, Cousin, and Aride) require advance permits. Our team arranges all necessary access and park fees in advance for a seamless experience.

5. Can we go diving or fishing directly from the yacht? Absolutely. Most yachts come equipped with onboard dive compressors, gear, and licensed instructors. Seychelles is home to some of the Indian Ocean’s best wall and reef dives.

6. What is included in a Seychelles charter?

6. What is the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance)? The APA is typically 35% of the base charter fee) and covers all running costs of the yacht, such as:

• Fuel, food, drinks
• Port and anchorage fees
• Transfers, special activities
• Gratuities

Any unused APA is returned at the end of the charter, with all costs clearly itemized by the captain.
